International conference – Geospatial and Environmental Dynamics – LAMINATION part II

15-16th November 2026| Building of Branch of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Novi Sad, Serbia

The international conference Geospatial and Environmental Dynamics – LAMINATION part II serves as the official dissemination platform for the project “The Loess Plateau
Margins: Towards Innovative Sustainable Conservation,” funded by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia. The conference convenes distinguished researchers, experts, and
practitioners to advance knowledge and foster dialogue on the sustainable management of loess landscapes.
We cordially invite contributions addressing the environmental, ecological, and socio-economic dimensions of the Loess Plateau margins—regions distinguished by their
sensitive geomorphological systems, rich geodiversity, and valuable natural and cultural heritage. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Land degradation and soil erosion;
  • Climate change impacts and environmental resilience;
  • Paleoclimate records and Quaternary environmental dynamics;
  • Geoheritage, geoconservation, and geotourism;
  • Sustainable land use and landscape management;
  • Geospatial and interdisciplinary approaches in geosciences.

Particular attention will be given to the loess province of the southeastern Pannonian Basin, with an emphasis on its geological evolution, conservation of geodiversity, and the
development of sustainable geotourism practices.
